Maintenance Incharge (Electrical & Mechanical)

Roles and Responsibilities

• The Maintenance Head is responsible for leading the maintenance team to ensure the reliability, efficiency, and safety of all equipment, machinery, and facilities.
• Oversee Electrical & Mechanical maintenance activities, including breakdown maintenance, preventive maintenance, and project management.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards for electrical equipment operation and maintenance.
• Ability to analyze complex problems and develop effective solutions
• Strong understanding of maintenance principles, practices, and technologies
• Proficient in maintenance management software and systems
• Manage a team of electricians to perform routine checks on transformers, switchgear, AC/DC motors, PLC panels, HVAC systems, lighting systems, and other electrical installations.
• Coordinate with vendors for repair and replacement of faulty equipment or parts as needed.
  Conduct regular inspections to identify potential issues before they become major problems.
• Report breakdown root causes, equipment faults and concerns to management.
• Ensure all work is undertaken to a high quality standard and adheres to all quality standard regulations.
• Carry out diagnosis of faults, the maintenance and repairs to all types of plant and equipment in a safe, timely and professional manner and return equipment to operational service

• Assist in the development of planned preventative maintenance (PPM) schedules
• Keep up with current and developing manufacturing and engineering trends regarding maintenance
• Achieve goals within budget - Plan projects or subtasks so they may be tracked and presented.
  

Desired Candidate Profile

• 10-20 years of experience in Electrical /Mechanical Maintenance from Iron, steel, Automobile industries.
