About Dainik Bhaskar Group:

DB Corp is the largest print media company of India. It publishes newspapers in 3 Indian languages across 12 Indian States with 65 print Editions with 6.6 cr total readerships. Its flagship brand in Hindi language is Dainik Bhaskar, Divya Bhaskar is Gujarati language and Divya Marathi is Marathi language newspaper. In FY 18-19, DB Corp recorded revenue of around USD 350 Million with PAT of around USD 40 Million.

The group employs 2700 journalists throughout the country for its news gathering operations which makes for more than 25% of its total workforce of around 10,000 employees.

DB Corp also has a significant presence in the Radio and Digital Media segment. 94.3 MY FM, the radio brand of the group is the largest radio network in India, with presence in 30 cities across 7 states. Further, Marico Foundation, London, has published our growth and innovative marketing techniques in a book to illustrate how Dainik Bhaskar Group radically turned around the marketing of Indian language newspaper and achieved # 1 position from Day 1 of the launch.

Position overview: This position is part of the central Brand Marketing team and will be based at Bhopal (Head Office). The incumbent will be responsible for executing corporate brand strategy & marketing of local state specific content. The incumbent will also be responsible for effective execution of our CSR initiatives and Brand events. This role will also be responsible for building a successful alliance with local brands for partnership and sponsorship of our Brand events. It will be an individual contributor position.

- Corporate Brand Team

- Product Digital Marketing Team

- State Circulation Head

- State Editorial Team

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and implement a rolling 3-month marketing calendar in collaboration with the corporate brand team, State editorial team and state circulation head.

- Create and execute multi-channel or channel-specific product promotions and cause-related (CSR) marketing initiatives aligned with the brand's vision and business objectives.

- Manage ATL, BTL, on-site creative, and campaign management activities. Regularly monitor brand performance and reader's perception & experience metrics in the state.

- Act as the custodian and advocate of the brand, ensuring consistent brand representation (as per the Brand Manual) across all consumer and cultural touch points in respective states.

- Creation of Social Media Posts & managing local influencers to promote Dainik Bhaskar print offerings and Readers engagement programs.

- Building a successful alliance with local brands for partnership and sponsorship of our Brand events.

Work Experience, Skills & Requirements:

- Minimum 5 years of marketing experience, preferably in the FMCG sector with a strong digital/social media background.

- Knowledge and experience with Facebook Ads (Follower growth), YouTube Featured Ads, In-stream Ads, Display Ads, Trending Ads, and leveraging Bloggers/Influencers to create buzz around the brand and influence social signals.

- Candidates from Tier 2 B-Schools, with a marketing background in reputed FMCG companies or the advertising industry, will also be considered.

- A team player capable of influencing other departments and regions where mutual dependencies exist.
