We are seeking a skilled and experienced Druid Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of Apache Druid and expertise in building real-time analytics platforms. You will work on designing, developing, and optimizing Druid-based solutions to handle large-scale, high-performance data analytics.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement scalable, high-performance data pipelines using Apache Druid.
• Develop and maintain ingestion specifications for batch and real-time data.
• Optimize Druid clusters for query performance, resource utilization, and scalability.
• Collaborate with data engineering, BI, and product teams to define data requirements and deliver insights.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues in data ingestion and query performance.
• Implement data security and governance best practices in Druid environments.
• Stay updated with the latest advancements in Apache Druid and related big data technologies.
• Write and maintain technical documentation.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Strong experience with Apache Druid: data modeling, ingestion, and query optimization.
• Proficiency in big data technologies such as Kafka, Hadoop, or Spark.
• Solid understanding of SQL and familiarity with complex query design.
• Experience with ETL pipelines and real-time data streaming.
• Knowledge of Druid cluster setup, monitoring, and troubleshooting.
• Proficiency in at least one programming language (e.g., Python, Java, or Scala).
• Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Bachelors or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or a related field.
