.NET Architect (Application Migration)

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced .NET Architect to lead the design, plan and deployment of robust and scalable applications to Cloud. This role demands deep expertise in C#, .NET Core, EF Core, MVC, Web API, and SQL, along with a proven ability to architect complex solutions and mentor development teams effectively.

Key Responsibilities

• Architect and Design Solutions - Develop and implement scalable, high-performance software solutions using .NET Core and related technologies.
• Technical Leadership - Guide development teams on coding best practices, architecture, and design patterns.
• System Integration - Design and integrate APIs, micro-services, and third-party services.
• Database Management - Ensure optimal database performance and design using SQL Server.
• Code Quality Assurance - Review code, establish development standards, and ensure adherence to architectural principles.
• Collaboration - Work closely with stakeholders, project managers, and cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical specifications.
• Mentorship - Provide guidance and mentorship to developers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
• Application Migrations - Good understanding or prior experience over different types of Migration (Rehosting / Replatforming / Refactoring / Rearchitecting)
• DevOps - Experience with DevOps tools like GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, or AWS CodePipeline to automate build, test, and deployment
• Cloud - Hands-on over any one private cloud service (GCP / AWS / Azure)

Required Skills

• Strong proficiency in C# and .NET Core.
• Hands-on experience with Entity Framework Core (EF Core) and SQL Server.
• Expertise in building and consuming RESTful APIs using Web API.
• Solid understanding of MVC architecture and design patterns.
• Proven experience in architecting enterprise-grade applications.
• Deep knowledge of database design and optimization.
• Experience in application and data migration projects.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to handle complex technical challenges.
• Experience with cloud platforms, including Azure and Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Experience in DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and containerization (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
• Knowledge of NoSQL databases.
