Role Overview
We are looking for a dynamic Head of Marketplace Business to lead and optimize our operations across major shopping marketplaces and quick-commerce platforms like Amazon, Flipkart, Myntra, Nykaa, Zepto, and others. This role requires a strategic thinker who can drive growth, optimize performance, and manage relationships to ensure DailyObjects is a top choice for customers across platforms. The ideal candidate will be data-driven, with hands-on experience in scaling businesses and managing budgets effectively.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute strategies to maximize DailyObjects' presence and performance across shopping marketplaces and quick-commerce platforms.
- Oversee product listings, inventory management, pricing strategies, and promotions to drive visibility and sales conversions.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with marketplace representatives, negotiate contracts, and onboard new platforms to expand market reach.
- Plan and execute marketing campaigns, optimize ad spend, and track performance metrics to achieve high ROI and sustained growth.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including design, content, and product, to ensure alignment and seamless execution of marketplace initiatives.
- Manage and scale high-volume listings, identify growth opportunities, and implement strategies to achieve business targets.
- Monitor key performance indicators like sales, ROI, customer acquisition cost, and overall platform performance, providing actionable insights for continuous improvement.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance operational efficiency and customer experience across marketplaces.
Qualifications & Skills
- 8+ years of experience in marketplace management, with expertise in shopping marketplaces and quick-commerce platforms (e.g., Amazon, Flipkart, Myntra, Nykaa, Zepto, Instamart, BlinkIt).
- Proven track record in scaling businesses, managing large budgets, and achieving strong ROI.
- Strong relationship-building and negotiation skills for platform onboarding and collaborations.
- Hands-on experience in product listings, inventory management, and performance marketing.
- Analytical mindset with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills, with the ability to manage cross-functional collaborations.
- Experience in fast-paced startup or D2C environments is highly preferred.
