Job Description

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Data Analysis and Processing:
    • Analyze and process data into engineering, marketing, manufacturing, and services systems.
    • Release and maintain Cummins product specification documents.
  2. Product Requirements Development:
    • Provide input into the development of product requirements and standards for documenting product specifications.
    • Ensure compliance with Product Release standards during the auditing process.
  3. Change Management:
    • Participate in and execute the product specification change management process.
    • Facilitate drawing changes, create required forms, and process modification requests.
  4. Continuous Improvement:
    • Participate in improvement projects linked to product requirements and change management.
    • Support system updates based on requirements (e.g., activation/deactivation of products).
  5. Communication:
    • Communicate effectively with stakeholders, ensuring clarity of information regarding product changes and requirements.
Skills:-
  1. Product Configuration and Change Management:
    • Understanding of BOM/ER releases and their relationship with system configuration.
    • Ability to manage configuration change tasks efficiently.
  2. Data Quality and Reporting:
    • Identify, understand, and correct issues in ER/drawing/BOM to improve business processes.
    • Prepare clear documentation for testing methods and analysis for engineers and customers.
  3. Competencies:

    • Effective Communication: Develop and deliver multi-mode communications tailored to diverse audiences.

Competencies:
Data Acquisition - Prepares samples, verifies equipment calibration and performs tests according to an approved standard procedure or work instruction in a manner which ensures, and results in, data that can be trusted and delivered to the engineer or customer.

Data Reporting - Prepares documentation in a manner which clearly organizes and presents testing methods, instrument settings, the data and analysis to allow the engineer and customer to understand the results and form accurate conclusions and recommendations.

Product Configuration and Change Management - Establishes a baseline of identified product artifacts to be placed under configuration management; releases, tracks, controls and communicates changes from concept to obsolescence often through work requests; establishes and maintains the integrity of the product artifact baselines.

Action oriented - Taking on new opportunities and tough challenges with a sense of urgency, high energy, and enthusiasm.

Communicates effectively - Developing and delivering multi-mode communications that convey a clear understanding of the unique needs of different audiences.

Education, Licenses, Certifications:
High school diploma, certificate of completion of secondary education or equivalent experience is required

This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.

Experience:
Requires some work experience and intermediate level knowledge obtained through education, training or on-the-job experience in documentation and control, engineering discipline or related field.
