Technical Project Manager/Scrum Master

Key Responsibilities

Role and Responsibility:

• Owns the prioritization of the teams backlog
• Will be the external ‘face’ of the team providing a single point of contact into the team
• Co-ordinates with Product Management, R&D Program Management and Systems, negotiating on priorities for the Features being requested
• Breaks features into user stories, prioritizes the backlog with requests for new features, operational improvements, bug fixes and technical improvements (reducing debt)
• Works very closely with the DevOps Team Lead to ensure there is a common understanding for the team
• Focussed on WHAT the team does and in WHICH order
• Interacts with other TPMs to understand any dependencies between teams and ensuring they are correctly prioritized in the respective team backlogs
• Reports on business case / business value for the team at the Feature level

Must have:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related technical field.
• Minimum Overall industry experience of 6 years
• At least 4+ years of prior experience working as a software developer.
• Should be capable of using tools like Microsoft Project Plan or Similar Tools and present weekly status
• Must have worked using Agile Process and Jira
