The candidate should have strong knowledge and experience on various legal, regulatory and statutory compliances applicable to a company. Should have good experience to handle compliance tool and answer and respond to all compliance related queries. Co-ordination with various teams to fulfill the compliance requirements and achieve 100% compliance.
The candidate should have good knowledge of the Labour Laws, Commercial Laws, Corporate Laws, Licenses, Permissions, Mathadi Board, Knowledge of e-commerce, etc.
Supervising effective closure of labour, HR and Admin related inspections under various laws such as Shops & Est., PF, ESIC, Mathadi, Minimum Wages, and other labour laws. Supporting Operations, HR and Admin teams on various labour laws and other store related legal matters. Preparing/drafting complaints, notices, replies, etc. to advocates, customers, regulatory, government bodies, police and cyber cell authorities, etc.
Preparing various responses and documents in the litigation matters including Consumer, Civil and Criminal. Coordinating with external counsel. Vetting the draft of the Petition, Plaint, Written Statement and Evidence as received from the counsels and verify the same on the factual points. Tracking and updating the Litigation MIS. Attending to the matters before Investigating Agency, Courts, Regulatory Authorities for and on behalf of the Company.
Should be able to prepare MIS and maintain all the details/data/documents of the legal department and update it on daily basis.
Ability to provide sound legal advice and solutions to different business situations, maintaining a fine and healthy balance between the business needs and regulatory framework.
