About the Role:
We are seeking a proactive and results-oriented Team Lead - Inside Sales to drive and oversee the performance of our telesales team specializing in business loans.
The ideal candidate will have strong leadership abilities, a proven track record in sales, and the capability to inspire and guide a team toward achieving and exceeding targets.
Key Responsibilities:
Target Achievement:
- Fully accountable for achieving and exceeding assigned sales targets.
- Develop and implement strategies to drive sales performance.
Team Management:
- Lead, coach, and mentor a team of telesales executives to ensure consistent performance improvement.
- Conduct daily, weekly, and monthly performance reviews with team members.
- Monitor team morale and motivation, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
Process Management:
- Ensure the team is updated on product knowledge, process changes, and sales strategies.
- Proactively identify potential service delivery issues and implement solutions to address them.
- Maintain and manage operational efficiency, resolving escalations promptly.
Training and Development:
- Conduct training sessions for team members on products, processes, and soft skills.
- Ensure a set number of training hours per team member, including refresher courses and behavioral training.
- Provide coaching and development opportunities to prepare team members for career growth.
Operational Excellence:
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operations.
- Work towards reducing attrition and maintaining a stable team structure.
- Ensure compliance with sales processes to avoid mis-selling or fraudulent activities.
Data Analysis & Reporting:
- Analyze sales performance data and identify trends for continuous improvement.
- Generate reports to track individual and team performance against key metrics.
Key Skills & Competencies:
- Proven experience in telesales and a strong understanding of sales techniques.
- Demonstrated ability to manage and lead a team effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with strong negotiation and problem-solving abilities.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret sales data and market trends.
- High organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to handle multiple priorities.
- Strong customer focus and the ability to manage escalations effectively.
- Leadership qualities with a focus on coaching and mentoring team members.
