AS400 Developer - RPG/DB2 (5-10 yrs)

Position : AS400/RPGLE Developer.

Experience : 5-10 Years.

Location : Noida/Pune/Indore (India).

Your Job :

- Development activities.

- Daily Status call and follow up actions.

- Helping users in requirement gathering (BRS preparation) and system analysis.

- User clarification with Business and explaining understanding to other teams in scope.

- Implementation of the product in production.

- Module leads for large teams.

- Responsible for delivery of assigned module/ components /phases of a project.

- Responsible for people Management, including goal setting and providing performance feedback.

- Responsible for Status reporting.

- Responsible for Knowledge transfer and arriving at SLAs for steady state.

- Technical problem-solving skills.

Your Capabilities :

- Minimum 4+ years of development industry experience with exposure to complete life cycle of development at least once on CLP/RPG/RPGLE on commercial applications.

- Extensive Knowledge of AS400 technology (RPGLE, CLLE, DB2), ILE which also means working knowledge of modular programming in ILE-RPG including Modules, Service Programs etc.

- Appreciation and knowledge of effort estimation, Unit Testing.

- Should be experienced in writing comprehensive Unit Test Cases / Plans.

- Able to execute & coordinate SIT & UAT with another vendor and Project Implementation.

- Knowledge of trouble shooting during various phases of development.

- Reasonable working experience of coding new (and changing) complex CL programs.

- Knowledge of DB2 concepts and associated methodologies.

- Should have good English communication and experience in multi culture work environment.

Qualification: BE / B.Tech / M.Tech / MCA.

Skills : AS400/RPGLE, AS400 technology (RPGLE, CLLE, DB2).
