As we continue to grow, we're seeking a dynamic Vice President of Finance to play a critical role in driving our financial strategy, managing investor relations, and supporting our growth objectives.

Position Overview:

The VP of Finance will serve as a key member of the executive team and act as the primary financial advisor to the CEO. This person will lead all aspects of the company's financial strategy, including fundraising, managing investor relationships, and ensuring effective financial planning and analysis. The ideal candidate has a strong background in startup finance, with hands-on experience in capital raising, growth strategy, and financial operations.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Financial Strategy & Leadership

- Develop and execute the financial strategy in alignment with the company's growth goals.

- Lead the finance team in budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, and financial reporting.

- Provide financial insights and recommendations to the CEO and executive team to support strategic decision-making.

2. Fundraising & Investor Relations

- Lead fundraising efforts, including identifying funding needs, structuring investment rounds, and building relationships with venture capitalists, private equity firms, and other investors.

- Manage ongoing investor relations, preparing presentations, updates, and quarterly reports to communicate performance and growth strategy.

- Conduct financial analysis and due diligence for potential investors, guiding negotiations to secure favorable terms for the company.

3. Financial Planning & Analysis

- Oversee the company's financial planning and analysis, providing regular updates on key metrics and ensuring the company meets financial goals.

- Analyze and interpret financial data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities to improve performance.

- Partner with other departments to support financial forecasting, resource allocation, and budget management.

4. Financial Operations & Compliance

- Establish and oversee efficient financial operations and processes to support the business's growth.

- Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting and adherence to accounting standards and regulatory requirements.

- Manage relationships with auditors, tax advisors, and other financial service providers.

5. Risk Management

- Develop and implement risk management strategies, including cash flow and liquidity management, debt structuring, and asset protection.

- Monitor economic, financial, and operational risks, recommending actions to mitigate them.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; MBA or CA/CPA/CFA preferred.

- 10+ years of finance experience, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role, ideally within a startup or high-growth environment.

- Proven track record in capital raising, with experience managing investor relations and securing venture capital funding.

- Strong knowledge of financial modeling, budgeting, forecasting, and strategic financial planning.

- Deep understanding of financial regulations, accounting principles, and risk management practices.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present complex financial information clearly and effectively.

- Strong leadership skills with experience building and mentoring high-performing teams.
