Job Title: Accounts & MIS Head

Position Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Accounts & MIS Head with a strong FMCG background to oversee financial reporting, management information systems (MIS), and the strategic direction of the company's financial operations, especially in the areas of foreign exchange and international accounts management. The ideal candidate will bring a deep understanding of the complexities of international finance, ensuring compliance and optimizing financial performance to support business growth.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Financial Management & Reporting:

- Oversee the preparation and analysis of financial statements, ensuring accuracy, compliance with international financial standards, and timely delivery.

- Ensure accurate bookkeeping, general ledger management, and reconciliations for both domestic and international accounts.

- Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing processes and reporting.

2. MIS & Financial Analytics:

- Develop and maintain a robust MIS to facilitate accurate, real-time reporting and data-driven decision-making.

- Generate and analyze financial reports, KPIs, and variance analysis to provide actionable insights to the leadership team.

- Monitor and forecast cash flows, balance sheets, and income statements for international and domestic markets.

3. Forex & Treasury Management

- Manage foreign exchange transactions, assess currency risks, and implement hedging strategies to minimize exposure.

- Lead treasury functions to optimize cash flow, liquidity, and investment management.

- Ensure compliance with international currency regulations and manage banking relationships across multiple jurisdictions.

4. International Accounts Management

- Oversee financial operations and compliance for international business entities and subsidiaries.

- Coordinate with global teams to manage inter-company transactions, transfer pricing, and tax implications for cross-border operations.

- Ensure compliance with local financial regulations in each market, including statutory audits and reporting.

5. Team Leadership & Development

- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing accounts team to ensure the company's financial targets and regulatory requirements are met.

- Drive continuous improvement in financial processes and reporting, fostering a culture of accountability and excellence.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Sales, Operations, and Supply Chain, to support financial decision-making.

6. Strategic Planning & Support

- Work closely with senior management to develop and execute strategic initiatives, budget planning, and forecasting.

- Participate in business growth plans, M&A evaluations, and other strategic initiatives to ensure financial feasibility and compliance.

- Provide strategic recommendations based on financial analysis, risk assessments, and long-term planning.

Qualifications and Skills:

- Educational Background: CA/CPA/ACCA or Master's Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; specialization in forex or international finance is a plus.

- Experience: 7+ years in financial management within an FMCG environment, with a focus on international accounts and forex.

- Technical Skills: Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and advanced knowledge of MS Excel, financial modeling, and analytics.

- Other Skills: Strong leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills; ability to work collaboratively in a global environment; excellent communication skills.

Preferred Experience:

- Proven track record in managing finance and accounts for an FMCG company with international operations.

- Strong understanding of forex regulations, foreign exchange risk management, and international financial reporting standards (IFRS).

- Experience in working with international teams and managing cross-border financial compliance
