Role & Responsibilities:
As a Assistant controller (US FAO & Payroll), you will be responsible for overseeing financial operations, ensuring compliance with US accounting standards, and managing payroll outsourcing functions. Your key responsibilities include:
1. Financial Accounting & Reporting
✅ Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes.
✅ Ensure accurate financial reporting, reconciliations, and variance analysis.
✅ Oversee accounts payable, expense tracking, and cash flow management.
✅ Ensure compliance with US GAAP, SOX, and internal control policies.
2. Payroll & Compliance (US Operations)
✅ Oversee multi-state payroll processing, tax filings, and compliance (FLSA, ACA, IRS).
✅ Ensure payroll accuracy, deductions, garnishments, and benefits administration.
✅ Work with payroll service providers (ADP, Paychex, Workday, NetSuite, Oracle).
3. Process Improvement & Financial Strategy
✅ Identify opportunities for process automation and efficiency in payroll & finance.
✅ Implement cost control measures and optimize accounts payable workflows.
✅ Develop financial policies aligned with client needs & regulatory requirements.
4. Team Leadership & Client Management
✅ Lead and mentor a team of finance, payroll, and AP professionals.
✅ Act as a financial consultant for US-based clients, ensuring smooth service delivery.
✅ Collaborate with CFOs, Controllers, and internal auditors to drive business objectives.
📌 Preferred Candidate Profile:
🔹 Education & Experience:
✔ Bachelors / Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.
✔ 7-12 years of experience in Finance & Accounting, Payroll, or FAO/BPO industry.
✔ Strong experience with US GAAP, multi-state payroll, and accounts payable.
🔹 Technical Expertise:
✔ Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Workday, NetSuite, ADP, Paychex).
✔ Advanced Excel skills (Pivot Tables, Lookups, Data Analysis).
✔ Knowledge of financial reporting, reconciliations, and compliance audits.

✔ Excellent analytical and problem-solving ability.
✔ Ability to work under tight deadlines and multitask efficiently.
