Senior Active Directory Engineer - DNS (3-6 yrs)

Job Title : Senior Active Directory Engineer

Experience : 3-6 years

Location : Bangalore

Mode : Work From Office (WFO)

Responsibilities :

- Operationally manage Active Directory infrastructure across multiple AD Domains.

- Review, investigate, and remediate performance or security irregularities in AD domains.

Collaborate with business unit teams to :

- Take over BU-managed AD environments and bring them under the management of Global Information Security.

- Increase the security of resource AD domains by addressing identified security vulnerabilities.

- Migrate AD-integrated applications from local user AD domains to the Global AD domain.

- Decommission old legacy AD domains and consolidate applications into the Global AD.

- Monitor, manage, and maintain Active Directory environments in alignment with baseline security standards.

Manage and maintain :

- Microsoft PKI Certificate Authority environment.

- Microsoft DNS.

- Group Policy Management.

- Network Policy Service (Microsoft Radius).

Must-Have Skills :

- Extensive experience as a Senior Active Directory Engineer with expertise in domain integration and migration projects.

- Strong knowledge of managing and maintaining distinct Active Directory infrastructures.

- Significant experience working with business partners and application teams to enhance the security of Active Directory resources.

- Experience assisting in application migration to the Client core AD or cloud environment as part of Active Directory domain consolidation efforts.

- Expertise in Active Directory infrastructure engineering, including but not limited to:

- Managing Cloud Virtual Machines.

- Load Balancers.

- Network Security Groups.

- DNS management.

Nice-to-Have Skills :

- Proficiency in PowerShell scripting/programming.

- Experience with Azure AD (Entra ID) Cloud Identity.

- Familiarity with Entra ID Connect Sync.

- Knowledge of Quest One Identity Connect Sync.

- Understanding of Entra ID Identity Protection.
