Job Title : Mobility Application Support Resource

Reports to : Application Support Manager
Job Description :
We are seeking a dedicated and proactive Onsite Application Support Engineer (L1/L2) to provide support for client applications at our client site in Indore. The successful candidate will be responsible for troubleshooting issues, providing support, and ensuring smooth operation of the client's web application and mobility web server. You will work closely with the client's technical team to resolve issues, test new features, and ensure timely support for application performance.
This is an exciting opportunity for an individual who is passionate about application support, troubleshooting, and client interaction.
Key Responsibilities :
End-User Support :
- Attend calls from end-users to resolve issues related to web applications and databases.
- Log and maintain detailed records of all reported issues, resolutions, and troubleshooting steps taken.
- Provide 1st and 2nd level support for troubleshooting simple to moderate issues related to web applications and databases.
Application Monitoring and Maintenance :
- Monitor and maintain the mcube mobility web server to ensure smooth operations for the client.
- Perform regular checks and address any installation/performance-related issues on Tech Expert machines.
Issue Resolution & Coordination :
- Resolve basic and moderate issues on your own, and escalate to the backend development team for more complex problems.
- Coordinate with the appropriate backend team members for effective and timely issue resolution.
Testing & Integration :
- Perform end-to-end testing of client applications to ensure that new updates and features work as intended.
- Participate in System Integration Testing (SIT) to verify the system works properly with other components.
Client Training :
- Provide training sessions to Tech Experts and Garage users on new features of the application to ensure effective use of the system.
Skills Required :
Essential Skills (Must-Have) :
- Experience : At least 2 to 3 years of working experience in application support or application development.
- Web Application Knowledge : Fundamental knowledge of web applications, with proficiency in HTML and CSS.
- Core Java & J2EE : Preferably advanced knowledge of Core Java and J2EE for supporting backend applications.
- Web Server Knowledge : Experience working with Tomcat will be an advantage.
- Database Knowledge : Fundamental knowledge of MySQL and/or Oracle RDBMS for troubleshooting and supporting database issues.
- Communication Skills : Strong communication skills with the ability to work in a team environment and interact with end-users and technical teams.
Additional Skills (Good to Have) :
- WebRTC : Experience with WebRTC technology or any audio/video call-based application would be a plus.
- Android Application Development : Experience in Android application development is a bonus.
Educational Qualifications :
- BE/B.Tech/MCA/BCA or equivalent degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Experience & Qualifications :
- Years of Experience : A minimum of 2 to 3 years of working experience in application support or application development.
- Maximum Experience : Up to 4 years of overall working experience
