Job Description
B.E. / B.Tech. (Electrical / Electrical & Electronics) / Electro Technical Officer (ETO)
- 4-6 Years of experience
- Maintenance of Tug / Vessel Engine
- Maintain, repair, and operate electrical systems, including generators, switchboards, and distribution panels.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as cleaning, lubricating, and replacing electrical components.
- Troubleshoot electrical faults and take corrective action.
- Maintain, repair, and operate electronic systems, including navigation, communication, and automation systems.
- Perform software updates and configuration changes as required.
- Troubleshoot electronic faults and take corrective action.
- Ensure compliance with relevant safety regulations, such as SOLAS and ISM.
- Participate in safety drills and training exercises.
- Report any safety concerns or incidents to the Chief Engineer/Technical Superintendent.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance, repairs, and inspections.
- Update technical documentation, such as manuals and schematics.
- Prepare and submit reports as required.
- Work closely with other crew members, including engineers, officers, and ratings.
- Communicate effectively with shore-based personnel, including technical superintendents and maintenance personnel.
- To create Purchase & service requisitions in SAP.
Processing of invoices (Material / Services) in SAP - Prepare and Maintain MIS in MS Excel
