Front Office - Lecturer/HOD

We are seeking highly qualified and enthusiastic individuals to join our team at Chennais Amirta as Teaching Faculty, Lecturer, and Head of Department (HOD). The ideal candidates should possess a passion for teaching, relevant industry experience, and strong leadership skills to contribute to the academic excellence and professional development of our students.

Role & responsibilities

1. Teaching Faculty: Front Office
• Deliver engaging and informative lectures, seminars, and practical sessions in the field of Hotel Management.
• Develop and update course materials, including syllabi, assignments, and assessments.
• Provide mentorship and academic support to students to enhance their learning experience.

2. Lecturer: Front Office

• Conduct classes on specific subjects within the Hotel Management curriculum.
• Assist in curriculum development and assessment design to meet educational standards.
• Provide guidance to students on academic matters and career development opportunities.

3. Head of Department (HOD): Front Office

• Lead and manage the Hotel Management Department effectively, ensuring academic quality and compliance with regulations.
• Oversee curriculum planning, faculty development, and student performance assessment.
• Provide leadership in shaping the department's strategic direction and academic initiatives.
• Collaborate with faculty members, administration, and industry partners to enhance the department's reputation and program offerings.

Preferred candidate profile

1. For Teaching Faculty and Lecturer roles:

• A master's degree or higher in Hotel Management, Hospitality, or a related field.
• Previous teaching experience in a higher education setting will be advantageous.
• Industry experience in Hotel Management or Hospitality is preferred.

2. For HOD role:

• A doctoral degree in Hotel Management, Hospitality, or a relevant discipline.
• Significant teaching and administrative experience in a leadership role within an academic institution.
• Strong communication, organizational, and decision-making skills.
