Job Summary:
Chandigarh University is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Admission Coordinator - Marketing to join our dynamic admissions team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in promoting the university's programs, managing admissions processes, and enhancing the overall student recruitment strategy. This position requires a blend of marketing acumen and organizational skills to effectively manage communication with prospective students and their families.
Key Responsibilities:
Marketing and Promotion:
Develop and implement marketing strategies to attract prospective students.
Create promotional materials, including brochures, flyers, and digital content.
Manage social media campaigns to engage prospective students and promote university events.
Admissions Coordination:
Oversee the admissions process, including application review, interviews, and decision-making.
Coordinate and attend recruitment events, campus tours, and open houses.
Provide information to prospective students regarding programs, scholarships, and admission requirements.
Communication and Support:
Serve as the primary point of contact for prospective students, addressing inquiries via phone, email, and in-person meetings.
Maintain accurate records of all communications and interactions with prospective students.
Collaborate with academic departments to provide accurate and up-to-date program information.
Data Management and Reporting:
Track and analyze admissions data to assess the effectiveness of marketing strategies.
Prepare reports on admissions trends, conversion rates, and marketing effectiveness for management review.
Collaboration and Teamwork:
Work closely with the marketing team to align admissions strategies with overall university branding and marketing efforts.
Participate in team meetings and contribute ideas for continuous improvement in the admissions process.
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Education, or a related field.
Previous experience in admissions, marketing, or a related area, preferably in higher education.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a strong customer service orientation.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with CRM systems and social media platforms.
Skills:

Strong analytical skills to interpret data and make informed decisions.
