Role Overview:
As the VP Sales at LEO1, you will be pivotal in driving our sales strategy and expanding our market presence in the education sector. You will lead a dynamic team, leveraging your experience in sales leadership and your deep understanding of educational institutions' needs. Your strategic insights and proactive approach will ensure LEO1 continues to be the partner of choice for educational institutions seeking innovative financial solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute strategic plans to achieve sales targets and expand LEO1's customer base.
- Lead, mentor, and motivate the sales team to deliver exceptional performance and foster a culture of high achievement.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders in educational institutions, understanding their pain points and offering tailored solutions.
- Collaborate closely with marketing, product development, and customer success teams to drive growth and customer satisfaction.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to identify opportunities for innovation and improvement.
- Prepare regular reports and forecasts on sales performance, market trends, and competitor activities for senior management.
- Define the sales team budget and monitor it periodically.
Required Skills and Experience:
- Proven track record in sales leadership within the Edu-Tech or Fintech industry, preferably with experience in selling SaaS solutions or financial products/services to educational institutions.
- Strong understanding of the education sector, including trends, challenges, and regulatory environment.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to think strategically, prioritize effectively, and make data-driven decisions.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field; MBA preferred.
- Experience in managing and developing a high-performing sales team.
