Key Responsibilities:
1. Engagement and Collaboration:
- Engage relevant business and bank partners in team-based customer development with a focus on expert delivery.
- Interact effectively with the immediate team, Commercial Loan Closing group, and internal customers to ensure seamless collaboration.
- Collaborate daily with Originators' management to proactively identify potential opportunities for growth.
2. Negotiation and Customer Development:
- Negotiate terms, pricing, and documentation for commercial loans, ensuring mutually beneficial agreements.
- Lead efforts to gauge Originators' appetite for new products, driving continuous value addition through innovative solutions.
3. Market Understanding and Analysis:
- Develop a strong understanding of the sectors and entities the firm represents through field visits, data analysis, and interactions with various stakeholders, including Originators, Investors, Regulators, and Internal teams.
- Stay informed about market dynamics, regulatory changes, and industry trends to make well-informed lending decisions.
4. Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain independent and extensive engagement with senior-level clients and key decision-makers, including Promoters, CEOs, CXOs, and other stakeholders.
- Cultivate deep networks and establish strong relationships with potential lenders, including Banks (Private & PSU), NBFCs, Credit Funds, and VC funds.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, or a related field; MBA preferred.
- Proven experience in commercial lending, with a focus on negotiating and closing deals.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and key stakeholders.
- In-depth knowledge of lending products, financial markets, and regulatory requirements.
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
- Established network and relationships with potential lenders is a plus.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in the fintech or SaaS industry.
- Familiarity with digital lending platforms and solutions.
- Knowledge of risk management and credit analysis.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
