System Engineer

• We are seeking a motivated System Engineers to join our IT Security team
• The ideal candidate will assist in monitoring and responding to security alerts, supporting incident responses, helping to develop and enforce IT security policies, conducting cybersecurity awareness campaigns, and liaising with government and industry cybersecurity organizations

- Managing and coordinating the response to cybersecurity incidents, including identifying,analysing, and mitigating the impacts of security threats or breaches

- Engage in developing and implementing comprehensive IT security policies, ensuringcompliance, and regularly reviewing these policies to adapt to new threats andtechnologies

- Organizing training sessions, simulations, and awareness programs to educate employeesabout cybersecurity best practices and protocols

- Establishing and maintaining communication with the Indian Computer EmergencyResponse Team (CERT-In) and other relevant governmental and industry bodies to stayupdated on emerging threats and collaborate on security initiatives

- Commitment to ongoing education and staying current with the latest cybersecuritytrends and threats, participation in training, certifications (eg, CISSP, CEH, CISM), andindustry conferences

- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (orequivalent practical experience)

- Understanding of Networking, Operating Systems, System Administration, Threat, andVulnerabilities

- Understanding of cybersecurity frameworks such as NIST, ISO 27001, and CIS Controls

- Knowledge of national and international cybersecurity regulations and guidelines

- Are courteous, cooperative, and professional

- Have excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and interpersonal skills

- Have experience and maturity in interacting with senior management and creating trust

- Experienced in managing communications during and after security incidents

- Minimum 2 years of experience in security technology as a Support Engineer/Analyst

- Understanding of analysing logs from various sources (eg, network devices, servers,applications) to identify security incidents

- Skilled in developing and implementing incident response plans, knowledgeable inforensic tools and techniques, and experienced in threat hunting

- Capable of gathering, analysing, and applying cyber threat intelligence to improvesecurity posture

- Understanding of scripting languages such as Python and PowerShell for automation

- Experienced in managing and deploying patches to ensure systems are up-to-date
