Assistant Software Development Engineer (Python, Django)

We are seeking a skilled Python Django Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of back-end development, experience building web applications using the Django framework, and the ability to collaborate effectively with front-end developers, designers, and other team members. Develop and maintain scalable web applications using Python and Django. Design and implement RESTful APIs for integration with front-end systems and third-party services. Optimize application performance for speed and scalability. Troubleshoot and resolve issues in development and production environments. Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic. Write clean, reusable, and efficient code following industry best practices. Conduct code reviews, debug issues, and contribute to team knowledge sharing. Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in Python development. Ensure application security, performance, and scalability. Mentor junior developers and provide technical guidance. Develop and maintain technical documentation, including design documents, user guides, and API documentation. Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the effectiveness of the development process. Collaborate effectively with stakeholders across various departments (IT, Product, QA, etc. ) to ensure successful project delivery. Ensure security and data protection throughout the application development lifecycle. Review and update development methodologies and tools based on emerging technologies and best practices. Adhere to strict ethical standards and organizational policies when handling sensitive data. A bachelor s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field. Minimum 2+ years of practical experience in Python development. Strong proficiency with Django; experience with Flask or FastAPI is a plus. Strong understanding of software development principles, including OOP, design patterns, and RESTful APIs. Experience with front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript is a plus. Knowledge of database systems such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB. Experience with version control systems such as Git. Familiarity with containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes. Understanding of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP. Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
