We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead and manage blockchain-based software development projects within the e-governance domain (such as land, health, and agriculture). The ideal candidate will have strong leadership and communication skills, with proven experience in managing complex software development projects from initiation through to successful delivery. This role requires someone who is adept at coordinating cross-functional teams, managing client expectations, and ensuring the timely delivery of high-quality solutions. The Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing the entire project lifecycle, including planning, execution, monitoring, and closure. Project Planning & Execution: a) Develop detailed project plans, outlining scope, deliverables, timelines, and resource allocation. b) Define project objectives and ensure alignment with business goals and client requirements. c) Oversee all stages of the project lifecycle, including planning, development, testing, deployment, and post-implementation support. d) Lead the coordination of all project activities across internal and external teams, ensuring timely delivery of all milestones and deliverables. Team Leadership & Coordination: a) Manage cross-functional teams, including Business Analysts, Developers, QA Engineers, and other key stakeholders. b) Ensure effective collaboration among all project team members, fostering a positive and productive work environment. c) Provide ongoing guidance and support to team members, helping to resolve issues and challenges as they arise. d) Facilitate daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and other Agile ceremonies if working within Agile methodologies. Client Engagement & Stakeholder Management: a) Serve as the primary point of contact for the client, ensuring that their expectations are managed and the project is progressing according to the agreed plan. b) Build and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring clear communication of project progress, risks, and deliverables. c) Lead client meetings, ensuring that business and technical requirements are understood and documented. d) Ensure transparency and visibility for clients, providing timely updates on project status and risks. Risk & Issue Management: a) Identify and mitigate project risks, ensuring that issues are addressed before they impact project timelines or quality. b) Proactively manage changes to the project scope, schedule, and costs, ensuring all changes are documented and communicated effectively. c) Work closely with the project team to ensure that any roadblocks are swiftly resolved. Quality Assurance & Delivery: a) Ensure the delivery of high-quality software solutions that meet both client and business requirements. b) Work with the QA team to ensure thorough testing and that the final product meets the required specifications and standards. c) Oversee user acceptance testing (UAT) and ensure that client feedback is incorporated into the final deliverables. Monitoring & Reporting: a) Continuously monitor project progress, identifying any potential issues or delays, and implement corrective actions as needed. b) Create regular status reports for both internal stakeholders and clients, ensuring that all parties are informed of project status and upcoming milestones. c) Ensure that all project deliverables are completed on time and to the highest standards, managing project budgets and resources efficiently. Documentation & Knowledge Management: a) Ensure proper documentation throughout the project, including project plans, scope documents, risk assessments, meeting notes, and client communications. b) Maintain a repository of lessons learned and best practices for future projects, fostering continuous improvement. Post-Implementation Support: a) Ensure a smooth transition of the project to the client post-delivery, including training, troubleshooting, and providing support for ongoing issues. b) Gather feedback from clients and internal teams to identify areas for improvement in future projects. Skills and Qualifications: Bachelor s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. 5+ years of experience in project management, with a proven track record of successfully managing software development projects. Strong understanding of blockchain technology, particularly in the context of e-governance applications (e.g., land, health, agriculture). Proven experience in managing complex software development projects using Agile methodologies (e.g., Scrum, Kanban). Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide cross-functional teams. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to manage relationships with clients and stakeholders at all levels. Proficient in project management tools (e.g., Jira, MS Project, Trello, or similar). Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to handle complex challenges and make decisions under pressure. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment, managing multiple priorities simultaneously. Willingness to travel to client locations as needed for meetings, requirement gathering, and project delivery.
