Job Description
- Lead project planning, execution, monitoring, and closure. Develop project plans, timelines, and budgets. Coordinate with internal teams and external vendors to achieve project goals.
- Act as the main client contact, maintaining positive relationships. Translate client needs into actionable project plans. Provide regular updates, facilitate communication between business units, IT teams, and other stakeholders.
- Understand software development processes. Collaborate with technical teams to align client requirements with technical solutions. Ensure clarity between technical teams and clients. Analyze requirements, prepare and review wireframes.
- Accurately estimate project timelines and resources. Manage project budgets to ensure financial goals are met. Identify and manage project risks.
- Lead and mentor SharePoint developers and administrators. Allocate resources, manage workloads, and foster a collaborative team environment.
- Identify project risks and develop mitigation strategies. Monitor project progress and adjust plans as needed.
- Ensure timely project delivery, meeting scope and quality standards. Verify project deliverables against user requirements.
- Maintain detailed project documentation including requirements, design specifications, and user manuals. Prepare project reports and presentations as necessary.
- 8-10 years of experience in software development projects with at least 4-5 years in team leading and/or project management.
- Technology skillset - .Net/React/SharePoint based web Applications. Proficient knowledge of relational databases.
- Proven experience in leading and managing complex projects.
- Significant experience working with US customers.
- Excellent skills in effort estimations, budget planning, resourcing, documentations project tracking.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Experience in leveraging AI tools like ChatGPT
- Experience with Agile and Scrum methodologies
- Experience with project management tools like JIRA, MS Project etc.
- Domain knowledge of environmental and safety domains.
- Bachelors Degree in Business Administration, Management, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
Masters degree in Business Administration (MBA) or Project Management (optional)
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
- PMP, PRINCE2, SCRUM Master or similar project management certification is preferred. (Nice to have)
- Communication Skills Excellent Verbal and Written
- Collaboration Skills Team player and able to understand team dynamics
