We are seeking a skilled and motivated IT Project Manager to lead, plan, and execute technology-related projects. The Project Manager (IT) will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills with a solid understanding of IT systems, software development processes, and project management methodologies.
Responsibilities :
Project Planning and Execution: Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders. Create detailed project plans, outlining tasks, timelines, resources, and budgets.
Team Leadership: Lead and manage project teams, including internal staff and external vendors. Assign responsibilities, track progress, and ensure resources are allocated efficiently.
Stakeholder Communication: Act as the primary point of contact for all stakeholders. Provide regular updates, manage expectations, and address concerns or changes to the project scope.
Risk Management: Identify potential risks and obstacles throughout the project lifecycle. Develop risk mitigation strategies and handle unforeseen challenges that may arise.
Budget and Resource Management: Oversee project budgets and ensure resources are used efficiently. Ensure that the project is delivered within the allocated budget and timeline.
Quality Assurance: Monitor and evaluate project progress to ensure the work meets the required quality standards. Ensure proper testing, documentation, and support post-launch.
Process Improvement: Continuously evaluate and improve project management processes. Recommend tools and methodologies for optimizing project delivery and team collaboration.
Preferred Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Management, or a related field.
Experience: 5+ years of experience in IT project management, preferably in software development, infrastructure, or digital transformation projects.
Experience with agile, scrum, or other project management methodologies.
Technical Knowledge: Understanding of IT systems, software development life cycles (SDLC), cloud computing, and enterprise-level technologies.
Project Management Tools: Familiarity with project management tools such as Jira, Asana, Trello, Microsoft Project, or similar platforms.
Leadership and Communication: Strong leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and manage cross-functional teams. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Certifications: PMP (Project Management Professional), Agile Certification, or other relevant project management certifications are a plus.
