Role Description :
This is a full-time remote role for an Atlassian (JIRA) Administrator with 3-5 years of experience. The Administrator will be responsible for day-to-day tasks related to Atlassian (JIRA) system administration, customization, and user support.
The role will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams to optimize workflows and enhance system functionalities.
Key Responsibilities :
- Install, configure, and maintain JIRA Software, JIRA Service Desk, and other relevant Atlassian applications.
- Manage user accounts, permissions, and groups.
- Configure workflows, screens, fields, and other JIRA components to meet business requirements.
- Implement and maintain custom fields, schemes, and validators.
- Develop and maintain JIRA add-ons and integrations.
- Monitor system performance and proactively identify and resolve issues.
- Perform regular backups and disaster recovery procedures.
- Provide timely and effective support to JIRA users across the organization.
- Troubleshoot user issues and provide solutions.
- Conduct training sessions and create user documentation.
- Gather user feedback and implement improvements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze and optimize workflows.
- Identify and implement best practices for JIRA usage.
- Drive continuous improvement of JIRA processes and functionalities.
- Research and evaluate new JIRA features and functionalities.
- Recommend and implement system upgrades and enhancements.
- Stay up-to-date on the latest JIRA best practices and industry trends.
Qualifications :
- Proficiency in Atlassian (JIRA) system administration and customization
- Experience in providing user support for Atlassian (JIRA)
- Knowledge of IT systems and workflows
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to work independently and remotely
- Certification in Atlassian administration is a plus
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
