About the role

NHA is seeking a motivated and skilled Business System Analyst. The role requires complete understanding various functionalities, documenting functional specs and ensuring the delivered functionalities are working as intended through UAT testing. The role will play a key role in bridging the gap between business requirements and IT solutions. BSA work closely with stakeholders from various departments to understand their business needs, gather requirements, and translate them into functional specifications for IT systems and applications. The role will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that IT solutions meet business objectives and deliver value to the organization.

Qualifications

B.E/B.TECH OR MCA from a reputed college/University.

Technical Experience & Competencies

• Minimum 5 years of overall IT working experience as business analyst working in IT applications implementation preferably for health tech and insurance domain post qualification completion.
• Proven experience as a Business Systems Analyst or similar role, with a strong understanding of business processes and IT systems.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to understand complex business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Experience with agile and waterfall development methodologies, including familiarity with tools such as Jira
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment, with a collaborative and customer- focused mindset.
• Knowledge of industry-specific regulations and compliance requirements such as dpdp (Digital Personal data protection)\

Certifications

Certification in business analysis, such as CBAP (Certified Business Analysis Professional) or CCBA (Certification of Capability in Business Analysis) is preferred.

Key Mandate

• Collaborate with all stakeholders to understand their objectives, processes, and requirements for IT systems and applications.
• Elicit, analyse, and document business requirements using techniques such as interviews, workshops, and document analysis.
• Translate business requirements into functional specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria for IT development teams.
• Work closely with developers, designers, and QA testers to ensure that IT solutions meet business requirements and user needs.
• Conduct gap analysis to identify discrepancies between business requirements and existing systems or processes and recommend solutions.
• Participate in the design and review of system architecture, data models, and user interfaces to ensure alignment with business requirements.
• Facilitate communication and collaboration between stakeholders and IT teams throughout the project lifecycle.
• Perform system testing and validation to ensure that IT solutions meet functional and non- functional requirements.
• Provide training and support to end users to ensure successful adoption and utilization of IT systems and applications.
• Monitor and evaluate the performance of IT systems and applications and identify opportunities for improvement or optimization.
