Job Description:
- Responsible for overseeing organization's global sales efforts and profit goals.
- Identify and pursuing new market opportunities to expand the company's global presence - Develop sales strategies, tactics and techniques based on the feedback of the customer and market environment.
- Conducting competitor analysis by keeping abreast of market trends & achieving market share metrics.
- Responsible for Secondary Sales, Inventory management and ensuring that the profitability and financial objectives of the franchisees are met.
- Drive customer focus through service standards in the area.
- To work in collaboration with the franchisees in delivering superior customer service experience by effectively managing sales procedures, the right product mix per location, with knowledgeable and well-trained staff.
- Coach channel partners to improve efficiency and adherence to processes.
- Communicating brand identity to pertinent key business collaborates, business units and customer support.
- Translates the strategic goals into retail operational plans to achieve the required targeted growth in sales and profit; identifies and optimizes promotional opportunities.
- Integrating and aligning sales plans with available processes, IT systems, talent and other areas to increase the capability and success of the sales force.
- Recruiting, leading, mentoring & monitoring the performance of team members to ensure process efficiency and meeting targets.
- Creating and sustaining a dynamic environment fostering development opportunities and motivating high performance amongst team members.
Skillset required:
- More than 5 years of relevant experience in handling international markets including business development and expansion, partner/franchisee relations and development
- Must be aware of international variances in cultural and legal issues pertaining to business
- Excellent negotiation and sales skills.
- Complete understanding of commercial model & structures and their implication on business
- Managed retail and understands effective measures of running retail business out of India
- Must be able to demonstrate the ability to contribute and successfully deliver against a business strategy
- Proven ability to interact effectively with senior level executives
- Able to manage effectively a cross-functional team.
- Experience in developing sales strategies and performance metrics.
- Advanced computer program skills like Microsoft Word, Excel and so on.
- Strong training and presentation skills.
- Able to work under pressure and close deadline
- Must possess a track record of increasing and sustaining sales growth and profitability even in challenging market conditions
