Position Overview:
- We are seeking an energetic and result-oriented Business Development Manager (BDM) to join our team in the staffing industry.
- The BDM will be responsible for driving new business opportunities, building relationships with potential clients, and expanding the company's market presence in the staffing and recruitment sector.
- The ideal candidate will have a strong sales background, excellent communication skills, and an understanding of the staffing industry dynamics.
Key Responsibilities:
New Business Acquisition:
- Identify and target potential clients within various industries that require staffing solutions (e.g., IT, healthcare, finance, engineering, etc.).
- Generate leads through networking, cold calling, email campaigns, and attending industry events.
- Understand client requirements and propose tailored staffing solutions to meet their needs.
- Build and maintain relationships with key decision-makers in client organizations (e.g., HR directors, hiring managers, and executives).
Market Research & Analysis:
- Conduct market research to identify trends, competitor activity, and emerging opportunities in the staffing industry.
- Analyze client needs and provide feedback to improve service offerings and delivery strategies.
Sales Strategy & Execution:
- Develop and execute business development strategies to achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets.
- Create and present customized proposals to clients, ensuring the solution matches their staffing needs.
- Negotiate terms and close contracts with clients to secure new business.
Client Relationship Management:
- Act as the primary point of contact for new clients and provide continuous support.
- Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction by ensuring service delivery is consistent with client expectations.
- Manage client expectations and resolve any issues that may arise during the recruitment process.
Collaboration with Internal Teams:
- Work closely with the recruitment team to understand candidate availability and ensure proper candidate placement.
- Collaborate with the operations team to ensure smooth execution of staffing assignments.
Reporting & Metrics:
- Track and report on business development activities, sales pipelines, and performance against goals.
- Provide regular updates to senior management on market trends and business opportunities.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Degree in Business, Marketing, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 6 years of experience in business development or sales within the staffing, recruitment, or HR industry.
- Proven track record of acquiring new clients and meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Strong network in the staffing industry or specific vertical markets is a plus.
- In-depth knowledge of staffing services, recruitment processes, and the workforce solutions market.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
