Role Summary:
The Delivery Head will be responsible for overseeing the recruitment and staffing operations, ensuring the successful delivery of staffing solutions to clients, and managing the end-to-end process from client acquisition to successful placement. This role requires hands-on experience in staffing, client management, and a deep understanding of running an HR consulting business. The Delivery Head will be accountable for managing the Profit and Loss (P&L) of the division, achieving business targets, and maintaining high levels of client satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
Client Management & Delivery:
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key clients.
- Act as the main point of contact for clients, ensuring their staffing requirements are met effectively and efficiently.
- Ensure high-quality service delivery within agreed timelines and budget.
- Oversee recruitment operations to ensure that client expectations are met with respect to quality, cost, and time.
P&L Management:
- Take full ownership of the division's P&L, working to meet or exceed revenue and profitability targets.
- Analyze financial data and ensure efficient resource utilization to maximize profitability.
- Monitor operational expenses and manage the budget to ensure cost-effective staffing solutions.
Team Leadership & Development:
- Lead, mentor, and motivate a high-performing team of recruiters and delivery managers.
- Conduct regular performance reviews, provide constructive feedback, and implement training programs for continuous skill enhancement.
- Foster a high-performance culture to drive results and maintain employee engagement.
Staffing Operations:
- Oversee the end-to-end recruitment process including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and onboarding of candidates.
- Ensure recruitment processes align with client requirements, industry standards, and compliance regulations.
- Optimize recruitment strategies to meet the diverse needs of clients and stay competitive in the market.
Business Development & Growth:
- Identify opportunities for business growth within existing accounts and new markets.
- Assist in proposal preparation, pitching to new clients, and negotiating contracts.
- Monitor market trends and competitor activity to adjust service offerings accordingly.
Strategic Planning & Reporting:
- Drive the development and execution of staffing strategies aligned with company goals.
- Regularly report to senior management on the division's performance, key achievements, and areas for improvement.
- Proactively identify risks and issues that may affect delivery and implement solutions.
Operational Excellence:
- Ensure continuous improvement in recruitment practices and client service delivery.
- Implement best practices and KPIs for recruitment teams to ensure high efficiency and quality of service.
- Use data-driven insights to make informed decisions and improve the delivery process.
Key Requirements:
Experience:
- At least 5-10 years of experience in the recruitment and staffing industry, with a proven track record of delivering results.
- Knowledge of both permanent and temporary staffing models.
Skills & Competencies:
- Strong leadership, team management, and interpersonal skills.
- Deep understanding of HR consulting, recruitment strategies, and client management.
- Ability to manage multiple client accounts and ensure high service standards.
- Strategic mindset with the ability to align operational goals with business objectives.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Proficient in using staffing software and HR tools (e.g., ATS, CRM systems).
Educational Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (MBA preferred).
Preferred:
- Experience in handling both high-volume recruitment and niche talent acquisition.
- A strong network of industry contacts and knowledge of current HR industry trends.
- Ability to scale and grow the business in competitive markets.
