Senior Executive - Procurement

This position will be responsible for sourcing and supply of key raw materials, chemicals, consumables, and chemical equipment for the breweries.

Role and Responsibilities

Operations

• To ensure timely conversion of Purchase Requisitions to Purchase Orders and adherence to the PR to PO process

• To ensure the availability of raw materials, chemicals, consumables and brewery materials as per the store requirement

• Implement category strategies covering key raw materials, chemicals and consumables

• To support in the implementation of material requirement planning through SAP and ensure adherence to the process

• To minimize write offs for the raw materials

• To maintain and share dashboards/reports on the major KPIs such as Plan vs actual cost of material, raw material write offs, plant inventory levels, PR to Payment tracker and No due certificate

• To drive savings for the raw materials, chemicals and consumables

• To work with the plant store managers on identifying raw material shortfalls and scheduling the orders in line with the requirement, defined inventory levels

Vendor management

• Identify and develop local suppliers for chemicals, consumables, spares and other plant requirements

• To coordinate on contracting with legal, supplier & user departments.

• To coordinate with quality for vendor performance review

Qualification and Skill Set

• Any Graduation or post grad degree in supply chain management / operations

• 4+ years of experience in procurement in an Alco Bev or FMCG

• Well versed in Excel

• Knowledge of any ERP, preferably SAP is an add on.

• Strong coordination and negotiation skills.
