Role & responsibilities

Managing sales and marketing strategies to meet market share and profit goals, identifying new product opportunities, coordinating with the development team, and providing market forecasts. Promoting products, analyzing market trends, and addressing competition. Ensuring marketing initiatives are within budget, evaluating product performance, and providing training to the sales team. Regular reviews of sales performance and staying updated on market trends are essential.

• Strong sales and marketing strategy development and execution.
• Proficient in market analysis, competitor analysis, and product forecasting.
• Ability to manage promotional activities and cross-functional collaboration.
• Skilled in budget management and marketing campaign effectiveness evaluation.
• Continuously enhance your computer skills and knowledge to stay updated with industry trends

Job Responsibility:

• Monitor sales and marketing strategies to achieve targeted market share and gross margin objective of the business.
• Identify opportunities for new products, enable technology transfers, develop and implement launch strategies to achieve defined objectives.
• Co-ordinate with Development team for new chemistry development.
• Provide market demand forecasts on products segments
• Provide promotional support to existing and developing business by organizing farmer meeting, trails and other customer support activities, etc
• Understand the and define strategies to the challenge of competition from both organized & unorganized sector.
• Synergies across products and look at options of offering services to specific nature wherever possible
• Ensuring that all marketing initiatives are implemented within budget
• Market Intelligence: Study market trends, competitor brands, pricing, schemes, channel analysis, and customer profiles to understand brand-switching behavior.
• Segmentation: Analyse product and market segments, determine product positioning, and decide the right market placement against competitors products.
• Marketing Mix: Determine the pricing, packaging, and promotional schemes for products to meet market needs.
• Communication Mix: Define advertisement objectives, promotional strategies, and select appropriate media to design and evaluate effective communication campaigns.
• Product performance evaluation - Newly Commercialized products
• Proactively review updates / MIS with related sales target achievement and business performance
• To give technical / product training to the sales team / personnel from time to time.
• Undertake any other tasks assigned as required.
