Role overview

The role of a Multi-Skill Technician (MST) in an e-commerce company involves
maintaining, repairing, and ensuring the smooth functioning of various equipment,
systems, and infrastructure in a warehouse or delivery stores. This role requires
technical proficiency in multiple domains like electrical, mechanical, and electronics
systems, along with problem-solving abilities.

Roles & Responsibility

1. Equipment Maintenance:
Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on conveyor belts, material handling
equipment (MHE), and automated systems. Diagnose and repair mechanical and
electrical faults in equipment like sorters, pickers etc.
2. Infrastructure Management:
Ensure the upkeep of power distribution systems, HVAC, and lighting systems.
Perform routine inspections and repair building infrastructure if needed.
3. Follow workplace safety standards and procedures:

Ensure compliance with electrical and mechanical safety norms.
4. Plumbing System Maintenance:
Inspect, maintain, and repair plumbing systems, including pipes, faucets, toilets, and drainage systems. Perform regular preventative maintenance to reduce breakdowns and improve system efficiency.

Experience

13 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in e-commerce, logistics, or
manufacturing.

Physical Fitness

Ability to perform physically demanding tasks such as climbing, lifting, and standing
for extended periods.

Qualification: 12 th - Graduate
