Job Description

  • Responsible for soliciting both budgetary and firm RFQs from customers and ensuring the timely submission of quotations.
  • Continuously identify new projects and customers, with the ability to make cold calls.
  • Accountable for consistently achieving annual and quarterly targets in the assigned territory, with the foresight to identify new opportunities when targeted projects face delays in finalization.
  • Prepare comprehensive techno-commercial quotations, including product selection, costing, and pricing, with proactive coordination among various departments to ensure timely and accurate quote submission.
  • Regularly make meaningful customer visits (both in India and abroad), demonstrating strong interest in the organization's offerings and building relationships with customers.
  • Take on reasonable additional responsibilities as needed on a case-by-case basis.
  • Conduct fast-track studies of business opportunities in the aerospace and windmill sectors for critical equipment supply and manufacturing.
  • Identify key equipment for development or technical partnerships, based on market growth potential, profitability, and sector demands.
  • Work closely with the engineering and manufacturing teams to provide realistic cost estimations and lead times for the profitable and feasible launch of products.
  • Prepare for and participate in exhibitions and trade promotion fairs, both in India and abroad, to effectively introduce products to customers.
  • Continuously scan the market using soft sources and field visits to keep the product and market pipeline active.
  • Take responsibility for securing technical partnerships for product development as needed.
  • Ensure regular customer visits for business solicitation and product introduction.
