Job Description

Role & responsibilities We are looking for a driven and experienced Sales and Business Development Manager to lead our sales initiatives and drive business growth. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in sales and business development, with experience in lead generation, client relationship management, and meeting sales targets. While experience in the real estate sector is not mandatory, it will be considered an advantage. You will play a key role in identifying new business opportunities, expanding our market presence, and building long-lasting relationships with clients.

1. Strategic Sales Planning:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies to meet business goals, across residential, commercial, and investment portfolios (if applicable).
  • Adapt sales strategies based on market analysis and trends to capture business opportunities and grow market share.

2. Lead Generation and Client Acquisition:

  • Use digital platforms, networking, referrals, and events to generate high-quality leads.
  • Develop a strong pipeline of prospective clients, including homebuyers, investors, and businesses.
  • Implement client acquisition processes through consultative selling and customer relationship management.

3. Business Development:

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, building partnerships with key stakeholders like property developers, investors, and corporate clients (if applicable).
  • Negotiate contracts and close deals that align with the companys goals.

4. Sales Process Management:

  • Manage the full sales cycle, from lead generation to closing, ensuring excellent client satisfaction at all stages.
  • Set sales targets, monitor performance, and drive the team to meet or exceed goals.
  • Provide regular updates and reports to senior management on sales metrics and performance.

5. Client Relationship Management:

  • Foster and maintain strong relationships with key clients, ensuring high levels of client satisfaction and engagement.
  • Provide excellent after-sales support to encourage repeat business and referrals.

6. Market Research and Competitive Analysis:

  • Conduct market research to identify emerging trends, customer preferences, and competitor strategies.
  • Use data-driven insights to adjust sales tactics and identify new opportunities.

7. Team Leadership and Development:

  • Lead and mentor a sales team, providing the necessary training, guidance, and support to ensure their success.
  • Cultivate a high-performance culture focused on accountability, innovation, and excellence.

8. Collaboration and Coordination:

  • Work closely with marketing and other departments to align sales efforts with broader business objectives.
  • Participate in product launches, client presentations, and promotional events to drive sales.

9. Performance Monitoring:

  • Track and analyze key sales metrics such as lead conversion rates, deal closures, and revenue generation.
  • Offer actionable insights and recommendations for optimizing sales performance.

10. Industry Knowledge:

  • Stay updated on relevant industry trends, regulations, and new sales tools or techniques that can enhance performance.
  • For candidates with real estate experience: leverage your market knowledge to provide valuable input into sales strategies.

Preferred candidate profile • Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or a related field. An MBA is preferred but not mandatory.

  • Experience:
  • Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in sales and business development.
  • While real estate experience is not required, experience in real estate sales will be highly valued.
  • Demonstrated success in achieving sales targets and driving business growth.
  • Skills:
  • Strong business development, negotiation, and closing skills.
  • Excellent leadership abilities with a proven ability to lead a sales team.
  • Exceptional communication, networking, and client relationship management
