1) Job Title: Lead System Engineer

Position Overview:

As the Lead System Engineer responsible for managing our complete System environment, you will play a critical role in architecting, implementing, and maintaining our System infrastructure to meet the needs of our business and customers. You will lead a team of System engineers and work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the reliability, security, and performance of our System services. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in System services, infrastructure as code, security best practices, and automation techniques.

Responsibilities:

System Infrastructure Design:

• Lead the design and architecture of our system environment, ensuring alignment with business requirements, scalability, and security best practices.
• Implement highly available, fault-tolerant solutions for our server environment.
• Implement infrastructure solutions across various platforms, including Linux, AIX, and Solaris OS.
• Manage and optimize virtualization environments using KVM and VMware.

Security and Compliance:

• Implement security controls and best practices to ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of our system environment.
• Configure and manage security services, ensuring robust protection against threats.
• Ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards, such as PCI DSS and GDPR.
• Develop and implement patch management processes to keep systems updated and secure.

Web and Application Server Management:

• Install, configure, and maintain web servers (Apache) and application servers (Tomcat).
• Monitor the performance of web and application servers to ensure availability, reliability, and scalability.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to web and application servers.

Monitoring and Performance Optimization:

• Configure and manage monitoring and logging solutions using tools like the ELK stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana) and other third-party tools.
• Implement proactive monitoring and alerting to identify and address performance issues and security threats.
• Optimize server resources for cost efficiency and performance.

Patch Management:

• Develop and implement patch management processes to ensure all systems, servers, and applications are up-to-date with the latest security patches.
• Regularly review and apply patches to address vulnerabilities and enhance system performance.
• Maintain a patch inventory and track patch compliance across all systems.

Team Leadership and Collaboration:

• Lead a team of system engineers, providing technical guidance, mentoring, and coaching.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including software development, operations, and security, to ensure alignment and integration of system solutions.
• Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement within the system engineering team.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field. A Master's degree is preferred.
• 5+ years of experience in system engineering or administration roles, with a focus on server management including Linux, AIX, and Solaris.
• Strong experience with virtualization technologies, including KVM and VMware.
• Experience in Linux administration, maintenance, hardening, and patch management.
• Hands-on experience with web servers (Apache) and application servers (Tomcat).
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues in a server environment.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience in implementing and managing patch management processes to maintain security and compliance.

2) Lead Network Engineer

Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Lead Network Engineer to oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of our network infrastructure across our colocation data centers. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a team of network engineers, ensuring the stability, scalability, and security of our network environment. This role requires strong technical expertise in networking technologies and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

Responsibilities:

Network Infrastructure Design and Architecture:

• Develop and maintain network architecture standards and best practices.
• Design resilient and scalable network solutions to meet the evolving needs of the business.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate new technologies into the network infrastructure.

Network Implementation and Maintenance:

• Lead the deployment and configuration of routers, switches, load balancers, firewalls, and other network devices.
• Perform regular network maintenance activities, including software upgrades, patch management, and hardware replacements.
• Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure optimal uptime and performance.

Inventory Management:

• Maintain accurate records of network hardware and software inventory, including serial numbers, licenses, and warranties.
• Track equipment lifecycle and plan for upgrades or replacements as needed to ensure reliability and compliance.
• Coordinate with procurement and finance teams to manage budgeting and purchasing of network equipment and licenses.

Security and Compliance:

• Implement and enforce security policies, including firewall rules, intrusion prevention systems, and access controls.
• Conduct regular security audits and vulnerability assessments to identify and remediate potential risks.
• Ensure secure configuration of network devices and services, following industry best practices and regulatory requirements.

Secure Configuration Management:

• Define and enforce configuration standards for network devices, ensuring consistency and adherence to security policies.
• Implement configuration management tools and processes to automate device provisioning, monitoring, and compliance checking.
• Regularly review and update device configurations to address security vulnerabilities and performance optimizations.

Team Leadership and Development:

• Provide technical leadership and guidance to the network engineering team.
• Mentor junior engineers and facilitate their professional growth through training and knowledge sharing.

Vendor Management and Relationship Building:

• Evaluate and select vendors for network hardware, software, and services.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
• 7+ years of experience in network engineering roles, with at least 3 years in a team management capacity.
• In-depth knowledge of networking protocols and technologies, including TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, VLANs, MPLS, and VPN.
• Hands-on experience with Cisco, Fortinet, or similar networking equipment.
• Proficiency in network security principles and practices, including firewall administration, intrusion detection/prevention, and encryption.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex network issues.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders.
• Industry certifications such as CCNP, CCIE, or equivalent are highly desirable.

3) Senior Oracle DBA:

Responsibility of / Expectations from the Role :

• Oracle RAC, Grid Infrastructure, and standalone database deployments
• Oracle Grid Infrastructure and Database patching and upgrades
• Perform proactive checks on production servers
• Support development life cycle through backup / restore operations
• Resource capacity planning (CPU, memory, IO, storage)
• Provide production support for critical Oracle database applications
• Specializes in Oracle Database administration, design, operating systems administration, and Application server administration and application development support in large enterprise environments.
• Practical knowledge and experience in all aspects of oracle database administration including installation, configuration, space management, performance tuning, high availability system configuration, system monitoring, Backup/recovery.
• Experience in Oracle Application and Database cloning and patching activities.
• Specializes in Oracle Database administration, design, operating systems administration, and Application server administration and application development support in large enterprise environments.
• Practical knowledge and experience in all aspects of oracle database administration including installation, configuration, space management, performance tuning, high availability system configuration, system monitoring, Backup/recovery.
• Knowledge of how to deal with customers in a Limited SLA period.
• Ability to work with the technical teams in design and development of the same. Be a liaison for the business leads with technical and program management teams.
• Experience of remote support and deployment as DBA for international clients.
• Experience in Remedy and Service-Now for managing incidents.
• Knowledge of UNIX systems administration.
• Experience in Access/Identity Management - Authorization Level Checks on Database.
• Experience in Oracle Application and Database cloning and patching activities.
