Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and proactive System Administrator to join our team in ensuring the efficient functioning of our IT infrastructure. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining and managing computer systems, networks, and servers critical to our business operations, with a strong focus on system security, reliability, and performance.

Requirements:

• Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience as System Admin
• Proven experience as a System Admin, preferably in an accounting or similar professional services environment.
• Strong knowledge of networking, servers, and IT infrastructure management.
• Familiarity with system security measures and best practices.
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication and documentation abilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Network Management: Configure, manage, and troubleshoot LAN/WAN, VPNs, and firewalls to ensure secure and efficient network operations.
• Server Maintenance: Install, configure, and maintain servers, including file servers, database servers, and web servers, ensuring optimal performance and uptime.
• System Security: Implement and monitor robust security measures such as firewalls, antivirus software, and regular patch management to safeguard the IT infrastructure from cyber threats.
• User Support: Provide prompt technical support to employees, addressing and resolving hardware, software, and network-related issues efficiently.
• Backup and Recovery: Design, implement, and maintain comprehensive backup and disaster recovery plans to ensure data integrity and business continuity.
• Software Management: Install, upgrade, and manage software applications and licenses while ensuring compliance with all legal and organizational requirements.
• System Monitoring: Monitor system performance and reliability, addressing potential issues proactively and optimizing systems for efficiency.
• Documentation: Create and maintain detailed documentation of network configurations, server setups, system processes, and IT policies for internal reference and compliance purposes.
• Asset Management: Maintain and update asset inventory, ensuring accurate tracking and documentation of hardware and software.
• Remote Administration: Configure and support remote administration tools (e.g., Team Viewer, Zoho Assist).
• Configuration Management: Configure and manage desktop and server systems, ensuring they align with organizational standards and best practices.
• Incident Response: Manage and resolve system incidents in a timely manner, minimizing downtime and impact on business operations.
• Report Generation: Frequent report generation in all aspects of IT systems like firewall and software.
