Systems Administration

Key Responsibilities:

• Network and Security:
• Configure, monitor, and troubleshoot Fortinet firewalls and Cisco switches.
• Manage VLAN setups and ensure proper segmentation and security.
• Administer Aruba Wi-Fi networks for optimal performance and coverage.
• Endpoint and Server Administration:
• Install, configure, and manage CrowdStrike or equivalent antivirus solutions.
• Manage desktop and server systems, including Windows and Linux administration.
• Handle server-related tasks, including performance monitoring, backups, and updates.
• Identity and Access Management:
• Administer and troubleshoot Active Directory and Microsoft Intune for endpoint management.
• Support O365 and email server operations, including mailbox management and troubleshooting.
• Cloud and Virtualization:
• Work with AWS and Azure services, ensuring smooth cloud operations and deployments.
• Manage virtual environments and troubleshoot issues as needed.
• IT Infrastructure:
• Oversee ISP lines, ensuring stable internet connectivity.
• Support VoIP systems and VPN solutions for secure communication.
• Handle printer setups, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
• Ticketing and Support:
• Utilize ticketing tools to track, manage, and resolve IT issues effectively.
• Provide Level 1 and Level 2 support for hardware, software, and network-related queries.
• Collaboration:
• Collaborate with senior IT staff for escalated issues and large-scale projects.
• Document processes, configurations, and troubleshooting steps for knowledge sharing.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• 3-4 years of experience in IT administration or a similar role.
• Strong understanding of Fortinet firewalls, Cisco switches, and VLAN management.
• Proficient in Aruba Wi-Fi technologies and antivirus solutions like CrowdStrike.
• Hands-on experience with Active Directory, Intune, O365, AWS, and Azure.
• Knowledge of email server management and VoIP systems.
• Experience with VPN, ISP lines, and ticketing tools.
• Proficiency in Windows and Linux system administration.
• Excellent troubleshooting skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks.

Preferred Certifications (Optional but advantageous):

• Fortinet NSE or equivalent firewall certification.
• Cisco CCNA or equivalent networking certification.
• Microsoft certifications (e.g., Azure Administrator, MCSA).
• AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner or equivalent.
