System and Network Administrator

The person should be able to perform all the below task(s) independently as well as delegate and monitor, assign, and complete tasks in a time bound manner:

• Expertise in Linux Kernel based OS like RedHat, Centos, Ubuntu and Virtualization solutions like KVM, Xen etc.
• Infrastructure Security at network, OS, Container and Application level, Vulnerability fixing, applying OS and application patches, hardening

of servers

• Good familiarity with Databases like Oracle, MySQL, Postgres for ensuring optimal performance, modifications in DB schemas, Performance Tuning, Clustering, Slow Query Analysis, Query optimization for SQL databases, Export/Import of data
• Effectively able to Document the activities, architecture changes, installation procedures etc.
• Capable of writing Shell scripts to automate the tasks
• Regularly monitor, maintain, analyse system logs of the performance monitoring of
• servers including but not limited to monitoring CPU, dis+*..k space, memory utilization, I/O utilization, etc
• Capable of quickly identify bottlenecks in the infrastructure and fine-tuning is done for optimal performance
• Planning and Defining Scope, Activity Planning and Sequencing, Resource Planning., Developing Schedules, Time Estimating, Cost Estimating, Developing a Budget, Documentation, Excellent communication in verbal and written form
