Job Description
- Oversee event planning and manage budgets effectively.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors, venues, and other industry contacts to ensure smooth logistical operations for all events.
- Establish and manage a Pan-India vendor network.
- Collaborate with internal teams, clients, vendors, and other stakeholders to identify event requirements and share the quotations accordingly.
- Conduct site visits and lead pre-event meetings to guide staff in making informed decisions about event design.
- Organize and manage logistics for events, including contract negotiations, guest list management, venue setup, security, catering, entertainment, transportation, decor, and marketing materials.
- Supervise the client journey throughout the event lifecycle, from planning to execution and post-event activities, ensuring high-quality service at every stage.
- Build and maintain a comprehensive database of vendors, venues, and industry contacts.
- Address and resolve any issues that arise on the day of the event.
- Manage the Operations (OPS) team, ensuring timely task completion and adherence to commitments.
- Demonstrated success in event planning or coordination roles.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication abilities.
- Proven ability to build and sustain valuable business relationships.
- Strong organizational skills with expertise in multitasking, time management, and attention to detail.
- Resilience and ability to perform under pressure.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor s degree in event management or a related field.
- Proficiency in using Event Management Systems.
- Willingness to travel domestically as needed.
