About the Role:
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Head to lead and manage all aspects of our business operations.
The Business Head will be responsible for developing and executing strategic plans, driving revenue growth, overseeing operations, and building a high-performing team.
This role requires a strategic thinker with strong leadership skills, a proven track record of business success, and a deep understanding of market dynamics.
Responsibilities:
- Strategic Planning & Execution: Develop and implement comprehensive business strategies to achieve company objectives, including market analysis, competitive assessment, and growth initiatives.
- P&L Management: Oversee the Profit & Loss (P&L) for the business unit, ensuring revenue targets are met and costs are managed effectively.
- Develop and manage budgets, forecasts, and financial performance.
- Revenue Growth: Drive revenue growth through strategic initiatives, new product development, market expansion, and effective sales and marketing strategies.
- Operations Management: Oversee all operational aspects of the business, ensuring efficiency, productivity, and high-quality service delivery.
- This may include production, logistics, customer service, and other related functions.
- Team Leadership & Development: Lead, manage, and mentor a high-performing team, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
- Provide coaching, training, and performance feedback to team members.
- Market Analysis & Competitive Intelligence: Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to identify new business opportunities and adjust strategies accordingly.
- Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and strategic partners.
- Ensure customer satisfaction and retention.
- Stakeholder Management: Effectively communicate with and manage relationships with key stakeholders, including investors, board members, and employees.
- Compliance & Risk Management: Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and legal requirements.
- Identify and mitigate potential risks to the business.
- Innovation & New Product Development: Drive innovation and new product development initiatives to stay ahead of the competition and meet evolving market needs.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate effectively with other departments, such as finance, marketing, technology, and human resources, to ensure alignment and achieve company objectives.
Required Skills and Experience :
- Business Leadership Experience: Proven track record of leading and managing businesses, preferably in a similar industry.
- Strategic Planning & Execution: Strong ability to develop and execute effective business strategies.
- P&L Management: Demonstrated success in managing P&L and achieving financial targets.
- Revenue Growth: Proven ability to drive revenue growth and increase market share.
- Operations Management: Experience in overseeing operational aspects of a business, ensuring efficiency and productivity.
- Team Leadership & Development: Excellent leadership, coaching, and mentoring skills.
- Market Analysis & Competitive Intelligence: Strong analytical skills to analyze market trends and identify opportunities.
- Customer Relationship Management: Excellent customer relationship management skills.
- Communication Skills: Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in business, management, or a related field.
- MBA preferred.
