About the Role :
Avensys Consulting is seeking an experienced SAP ABAP HR/HCM Consultant to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in SAP ABAP programming and HR functionalities, with proven experience in SAP HCM modules and a deep understanding of HR processes. This role involves designing, developing, and optimizing custom HR solutions to meet the evolving needs of the organization and its clients.
Key Responsibilities :
Development & Programming :
- Design, develop, and enhance custom programs, reports, workflows, and interfaces specific to SAP HR modules using ABAP.
- Develop solutions for Personnel Administration (PA), Organizational Management (OM), Payroll (PY), and Time Management (TM).
- Work on HR-specific objects like infotypes, clusters, and schema enhancement using ABAP.
Configuration & Customization :
- Configure and customize HCM modules, including schema modifications and integration with other SAP modules.
- Implement HR-specific tools such as LSMW, BAPIs, BADIs, and user exits to meet business requirements.
Integration :
- Work on integration with third-party systems using IDOCs, OData, or other APIs.
- Collaborate with technical teams to ensure seamless data exchange and interoperability between SAP HCM and external systems.
Performance Optimization :
- Debug, troubleshoot, and enhance system performance for HR-specific programs and processes.
- Conduct performance tuning for custom developments and ensure compliance with SAP best practices.
HR Process Understanding :
- Demonstrate a deep understanding of HR processes, including Recruitment, Employee Lifecycle Management, Payroll, and Time Management.
- Provide technical support for HR-related operations and ensure timely issue resolution.
Collaboration & Training :
- Collaborate with business users and stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Provide end-user training, prepare documentation, and offer post-implementation support to ensure smooth transitions and adoption.
Reporting & Analytics :
- Develop analytical reports using ABAP Queries, ALV reports, and SAP HANA views.
- Create customized dashboards and tools to provide actionable insights for HR operations.
Key Requirements :
Technical Expertise :
- Proficiency in SAP ABAP programming with a focus on HR functionalities.
- Hands-on experience with HR modules, including Personnel Administration (PA), Organizational Management (OM), Payroll (PY), and Time Management (TM).
- Strong knowledge of HR data structures, infotypes, and cluster tables.
- Experience with debugging, performance tuning, and enhancements for HR-specific developments.
HR-Specific Tools :
- Expertise in using LSMW, BAPIs, BADIs, and user exits for HR-related projects.
- Familiarity with HR schema processing and payroll calculations.
Integration & Reporting :
- Experience with integration technologies such as IDOCs, OData, or APIs for third-party systems.
- Proficiency in creating reports using ALV, ABAP Queries, and SAP HANA views.
Additional Skills :
- Exposure to SuccessFactors or other cloud-based HR solutions is a plus.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
