Job Title: HR Operations Manager
Department: Human Resources
Location: Bengaluru, India
Reports To: [Position of Reporting Manager, e.g, Head of HR, Director of HR]
Summary:
- We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced HR Operations Manager to join our growing team in Bengaluru.
- This is a critical role responsible for overseeing the day-to-day HR operations, ensuring compliance with all relevant labor laws and company policies, and supporting the organization's strategic HR initiatives.
- The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of HR best practices, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to manage a high-volume workload effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
HR Operations Management:
- Oversee the entire employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, training & development, performance management, compensation & benefits, and employee relations.
- Manage and maintain employee records, including personnel files, attendance records, and other HR-related documentation.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable labor laws, including but not limited to, the Indian Labor Act, Minimum Wages Act, and PF & ESI regulations.
- Develop and implement HR policies and procedures to ensure consistency and fairness across the organization.
- Manage employee relations issues, including grievances, disciplinary actions, and conflict resolution.
- Conduct investigations and recommend appropriate actions for employee misconduct.
- Manage the performance appraisal process, including goal setting, performance reviews, and employee development plans.
- Oversee the compensation and benefits administration, including salary processing, bonus payments, and leave management.
- Manage the company's employee assistance programs (EAP) and other employee wellness initiatives.
Recruitment & Onboarding:
- Oversee the full recruitment cycle, including job posting, screening resumes, conducting interviews, and making hiring decisions.
- Develop and implement effective onboarding programs to ensure new hires are successfully integrated into the company.
- Manage the offer letter release process, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policy.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with external recruitment agencies and other talent acquisition channels.
HR Analytics & Reporting:
- Generate and analyze HR data to identify trends and make data-driven decisions.
- Prepare regular reports on HR key performance indicators (KPIs), such as employee turnover, recruitment costs, and training effectiveness.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date HR dashboards and reports for management review.
Employee Relations:
- Foster a positive and inclusive work environment for all employees.
- Address employee concerns and grievances promptly and effectively.
- Build strong relationships with employees at all levels to understand their needs and concerns.
- Promote employee engagement and morale through various initiatives.
Compliance:
- Ensure compliance with all relevant labor laws and regulations.
- Conduct regular audits to identify and address any compliance risks.
- Stay abreast of changes in labor laws and regulations and update HR policies accordingly.
Staffing Industry Expertise:
- Leverage knowledge of the staffing industry to optimize recruitment strategies and improve talent acquisition.
- Understand the specific challenges and opportunities within the staffing industry and adapt HR practices accordingly.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 5+ years of progressive experience in HR roles, with a strong focus on HR operations and generalist responsibilities.
- Experience managing HR operations for a company with a headcount of 2000+ employees.
- Proven ability to handle high-volume workloads and meet deadlines.
- Strong understanding of HR laws and regulations, including the Indian Labor Act, Minimum Wages Act, and PF & ESI regulations.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Experience with HRIS systems (e.g, Workday, SAP SuccessFactors) is preferred.
- Professional certifications such as SHRM-CP, PHR, or SPHR are a plus
