Job Description

We are looking for a motivated and tech-savvy fresher to join our IT support team for ground

staff. The candidate will play a crucial role in providing technical assistance and ensuring the

smooth operation of IT systems and devices used by ground staff. This is an excellent

opportunity for individuals passionate about technology and eager to grow in the IT field.


Key Responsibilities:

1. Technical Support:

  • Provide first-level technical support for hardware, software, and network issues

faced by ground staff.

  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to desktops, laptops, printers, scanners,

and other IT equipment.

2. System Maintenance:

  • Perform routine maintenance of IT systems, ensuring they are operational and up

to date.

  • Monitor system performance and report any anomalies.

3. User Assistance:

  • Assist ground staff in using IT systems, applications, and devices effectively.
  • Provide training on basic troubleshooting techniques and IT policies.

4. Incident Management:

  • Log and document all technical incidents and resolutions for future reference.
  • Escalate complex issues to senior IT staff or external vendors as needed.

5. Asset Management:

  • Track and manage IT inventory, including hardware and software licenses.
  • Ensure proper documentation of IT assets issued to ground staff.

6. Compliance:

  • Adhere to company IT policies and data security protocols.
  • Ensure proper handling of sensitive information and prevent unauthorized

access.


Key Skills and Qualifications:


Education: Diploma or bachelors degree in Information Technology, Computer Science,

or related field.

• Technical Knowledge: Basic understanding of computer hardware, operating systems

(Windows, Linux & MacOS), and networking concepts.

• Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to troubleshoot technical issues effectively.

• Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact

with non-technical users.

• Customer Service: Strong interpersonal skills with a focus on user satisfaction.

• Willingness to Learn: Eagerness to acquire new technical skills and adapt to evolving

IT systems.


Preferred Qualifications (not mandatory):

• Familiarity with ticketing systems or helpdesk tools.

• Basic understanding of cloud services and email platforms.

• Certification in IT fundamentals (e.g., CompTIA ITF+, Microsoft Fundamentals) is a plus.


Work Environment:

• On-site role with occasional travel to other locations as required.

• Shift-based work may be necessary, including weekends and holidays.
