Chartered Accountant

Role & responsibilities

• Knowledge of taxes
• Prepare and maintain financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
• Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and forecasts.
• Manage accounts payable and receivable processes, ensuring timely and accurate invoicing and payments.
• Conduct monthly reconciliation of bank statements and ensure the accuracy of financial data.
• Support the audit process by providing necessary documentation and assistance to internal and external auditors.
• Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations and standards.
• Assist in the preparation of tax returns and ensure timely submission.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights and support business decisions.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements in accounting practices and systems.

Preferred candidate profile

• CA (Chartered Accountant) qualification is mandatory.
• 2-3 years of relevant experience in accounting or finance.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial regulations.
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks, SAP) and MS Office Suite, particularly Excel.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
