Job Title: Financial Accountant / Financial Analyst

Reports to: Senior Finance Manager / Finance Reporting

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Financial Accountant to join our finance team. The successful candidate will play a key role in month-end processes, financial reporting, and liaising with stakeholders to ensure the accurate and timely submission of financial data. The role involves a strong collaboration with tax, audit, and senior stakeholders to ensure that financial records and reconciliations are accurately maintained.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Monthly Financial Submission & Review
   
• Responsible for the actual submission and sign-off of monthly financials into the system.
• Resolve errors during submission through liaison with various stakeholders to ensure accurate reporting.
2. Month-End Entries & Processing
   
• Calculate and process month-end entries in ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) systems.
3. Tax Coordination & Support
   
• Work closely with the tax team, providing necessary details and data required for tax pack calculations.
4. Flash Sales Consolidation & Review
   
• Consolidate flash sales and review them with senior stakeholders to ensure accurate reporting.
5. Consolidation & Review of Financials
   
• Consolidate, prepare, and review actual financials on a monthly basis, working with senior stakeholders.
6. Cross-Charge Workings & Cost Audit
   
• Prepare cross-charge workings and ensure the completion of the end-to-end cost audit.
7. Third-Run Entry Liaison
   
• Liaise with different stakeholders to ensure only pre-aligned entries are posted into SAP in the third run.
8. Month-End Control Performance
   
• Perform financial controls during the month-end process in coordination with local and global stakeholders.
9. Journal Postings
   
• Post necessary journal entries for actuals and plans as required.
10. Profit & Balance Sheet Reconciliations

• Prepare and review profit and balance sheet reconciliations, ensuring accuracy and alignment with senior stakeholders.

1. Global Team Submissions & Queries

• Prepare, submit, and resolve any post-submission queries raised by the global team.

1. Profit Center Corrections

• Manage and process profit center corrections in the ERP system.

1. Contract Submission

• Oversee the submission of significant contracts in the required format and timelines.

1. Planning & Volume Updates

• Submit plans, update volume data, and ensure accurate rate updation in ERP systems.

1. Support for Audits

• Provide timely support for statutory, SOX (Sarbanes-Oxley), and internal audits. Ensure all necessary data is provided on time.

1. Tax Audit Schedules

• Prepare tax audit schedules, including stock reconciliations, and collaborate with auditors as needed.

Key Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Proven experience in financial reporting, accounting, or similar roles.
• Strong knowledge of ERP systems, particularly SAP.
• Familiarity with month-end closing, financial controls, and tax coordination.
• Experience in handling audits, reconciliations, and financial submissions.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to liaise with senior stakeholders and external parties.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
