Job Overview:
As a Transition Manager, you will play a pivotal role in orchestrating seamless work transitions between our US operations and global locations, primarily in Argentina and India.
Success in this position means ensuring smooth, efficient, and well-documented transitions that minimize disruption and maximize productivity.
You will leverage your extensive project management and consulting expertise to drive change, engage stakeholders, and optimize processes.
This role is crucial for fostering collaboration and efficiency across our global teams, contributing directly to the organization's strategic objectives and operational excellence.
Responsibilities:
Transition Planning and Execution:
- Develop comprehensive transition plans, including timelines, resource allocation, and risk mitigation strategies, to ensure successful work transfers.
- Lead the execution of transition plans, monitoring progress and addressing any challenges that arise.
- Establish clear communication channels and protocols to facilitate effective collaboration between US and global teams.
- Document all transition activities, processes, and outcomes to ensure knowledge transfer and continuous improvement.
Process Mapping and Optimization:
- Conduct detailed process mapping exercises to identify inefficiencies and opportunities for optimization during transitions.
- Develop and implement standardized processes and workflows to ensure consistency and efficiency across global locations.
- Utilize process improvement methodologies to streamline operations and enhance productivity.
Stakeholder Engagement and Change Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels, including US and global team members, managers, and executives.
- Develop and implement change management strategies to ensure smooth adoption of new processes and workflows.
- Conduct training and workshops to educate stakeholders on transition plans and new processes.
- Act as the main point of contact for all transition related questions.
Project Management and Reporting:
- Manage complex transition projects, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
- Utilize project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Monday.com, MS Lists) to track progress, manage tasks, and generate reports.
- Provide regular updates and reports to senior management on transition progress, risks, and outcomes.
- Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of transition initiatives.
Problem-Solving and Risk Management:
- Identify and mitigate potential risks and challenges associated with work transitions.
- Develop and implement contingency plans to address unexpected issues.
- Utilize strong problem-solving skills to resolve complex issues and ensure smooth transitions.
Qualifications:
- 8+ years of project management experience, with a focus on process mapping and managing work transitions between US and global locations, particularly in Argentina and India.
- Proven consulting experience, with a track record of successfully managing complex projects with measurable results.
- Expertise in change management and stakeholder engagement.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to adapt quickly to changing environments.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders effectively.
- Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Monday.com, MS Lists).
- Bachelor's Degree in Business administration, or related field.
- Ability to work in multiple time zones
