- The Change Manager will lead the change management activities associated with the implementation of the ARIBA procurement system across the organization.
- This role requires a blend of technical understanding of the ARIBA platform, exceptional communication skills, and the ability to drive organizational change.
- The Change Manager will work closely with the project team, stakeholders, and users to ensure a smooth transition to the new system, minimizing resistance and maximizing engagement and adoption.
Key Responsibilities:
- Change Management Strategy and Planning: Develop and implement a comprehensive change management strategy tailored to the needs of the ARIBA implementation project.
- This includes assessing the change impact, identifying stakeholders, and designing targeted interventions.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Identify and manage a broad range of stakeholders, ensuring effective communication and involvement throughout the project lifecycle.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships across the organization to facilitate the change process.
- Communication: Design and deliver clear, consistent, and engaging communication plans and materials to support the change initiative.
- Ensure that all stakeholders are informed about the changes, understand the benefits, and know what is expected of them.
- Training and Support: Oversee the development and delivery of training programs for users of the ARIBA system. Ensure that support mechanisms are in place to assist users during and after the transition.
- Resistance Management: Identify and address resistance to change, employing strategies to manage and mitigate concerns and barriers.
- Work closely with leadership and project teams to support a culture that embraces change.
- Monitoring and Reporting: Establish metrics and monitoring mechanisms to track the effectiveness of change management activities.
- Report on progress, challenges, and successes to the project team and senior management.
- Continuous Improvement: Evaluate the change process post-implementation to identify lessons learned and areas for improvement.
- Use this insight to enhance future change management practices within the organization.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, change management, information systems, or a related field. Proven experience in change management, preferably in the context of ARIBA or similar enterprise resource planning (ERP) system implementations. Strong understanding of procurementprocesses and how ARIBA can optimize these.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills. Ability to work effectively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Project management certification (e.g., PMP) or change management certification (e.g., Prosci) is highly desirable.
- Work Environment and Conditions: Flexibility in work hours may be necessary to meet project deadlines and accommodate different time zones.
