Financial Risk & Finance Function Governance: Animate and facilitate the Financial Risk Team s governance - ensuring effective communication, collaboration, and execution of risk management initiatives. This includes:
Working with risk owners to identify, assess, and mitigate financial risks.
Developing and maintaining risk reporting and dashboards.
Ensuring alignment with overall company risk strategy.
Coordinating governance meetings, preparing executive and board reports.
Assist with budget preparation & monitoring.
Supporting the development and implementation of finance policies and procedures.
You will be required to work closely with other departments within the organization, such as product, engineering, and operations, to ensure alignment on financial goals and initiatives.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; MBA or other advanced degree preferred.
8+ years of experience in finance transformation and financial risk management, preferably within the fintech or payments industry.
Strong understanding of financial statements and accounting principles.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
Experience with financial modeling and data analysis tools.
Preferred Qualifications:
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Highly organized and detail-oriented.
Experience in a startup environment is a plus.
