Safety Manager

Job Description:

• Collaborate with the Execution Team to ensure a safe working environment across the site.
• Promote a culture of safety by proactively addressing potential risks and ensuring adherence to safety protocols.
• Oversee daily activities from an EHS perspective, focusing on hazard identification and risk assessment.
• Implement preventive measures to mitigate risks and ensure compliance with safety standards.
• Conduct safety walks and inspections to identify areas for improvement.
• Organize and deliver safety inductions for laborers, including EHS training, mock drills, and specialized height training sessions.
• Coordinate with the Planning and Stores teams for the procurement and inventory management of PPEs, safety ropes, posters, and other safety-related items.
• Monitor and report all near-miss incidents, accidents, and safety violations at the site using prescribed formats.
• Provide detailed analysis and recommendations to prevent recurrence.
• Prepare the Project EHS Plan and secure necessary approvals from relevant stakeholders.
• Ensure its effective implementation throughout the project lifecycle.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation to support QMS/IMS audits.
• Liaise with various departments to ensure the site complies with organizational safety requirements.
